"Sharing Joy and awareness for healthy lives.....
In gratitude for all........"
Holiday Greetings to everyone!
So many of us are looking forward to the holiday season........
It is especially nice to have the opportunity to gather with family and friends, and to express our love and gratitude for each other and the world.
During these times, our happiness may come readily but in years when life is stressful, or when we are alone or going through a painful life experience.......perhaps there may be depression or sadness.
Regardless of the circumstances during the holiday season, we all have a choice to create a joyful and peaceful holiday season.....
Here are some very simple but powerful things I have found to be very helpful to cultivate peace and joy in our lives....
1.) Set your intention ~ take a little time each day for joy........it might be challenging to feel joy, if you are going thru a stressful or overly busy time.......
One easy way is to start your day by choosing to put a few drops of the essential oil blend of JOY on your heart......and breathe in the aroma......it will immediate lift your spirits.......and you will feel lighter and brighter as it lifts and releases depression or grief you may be feeling. Another oil you may like to try is blend called.........Inspiration.....which was formulated to help find a calm space in our minds and bring us closer to that creative center where our higher intuition operates.
Again, after anointing yourself, breathe in the aroma and let it permeate your being.
2.) Another loving thing to do is to nurture ourselves even in little ways. Remember to give yourself some simple pleasures and this too will increase your JOY...
If you like to read.....make sure you give yourself time to read a chapter or two each day. This will give you pleasure and take your mind off the intensity of any stress or emotion you may be feeling.
If you like to walk.......make sure you can take even 15 minutes a day, to get out into the sunshine......and walk .......it is not only good for your heart , but your lungs and soul.
Start your day with some very simple affirmations.......I like to apply my oils, and then speak some positive loving statements about myself, and "my world" before I step out into the day.....it is a good reminder of how we choose to live and the things we want to create. Remember by speaking our goals and dreams will bring them into reality.
3.) Another Way to bring joy into the season is to remember to celebrate all the good that is in our lives....Living in gratitude is especially good for our soul and spirit.
To help assist you in that feeling.....you may choose to apply a drop or two of Gratitude oil blend on your heart, back of neck or temples. Breathe in the aroma, and give thanks for all the good things in your life....... Even though we may be struggling with sadness or emotion during this holiday season, we can make the conscious effort to celebrate the good in our lives... It may take a bit more work on our part, and even if it is the smallest thing...celebrate it! Appreciation of a kindness from a friend......or the laughter of a child.....When we can look at these things.......through eyes of gratitude, we will find a renewed sense of appreciation for all the blessings around us.
